Yunnan Shenlong's No. 1 Continuous Hot-Dip Galvanizing Line Successfully Commissioned

On June 1, 2026, the first coil of high-quality hot-dip galvanized sheet was successfully produced on the No. 1 continuous hot-dip galvanizing line at Yunnan Shenlong Tengda New Material Technology Co., Ltd., marking the official start of full-scale commissioning for the company's three continuous coating lines — for hot-dip galvanizing, aluminum-zinc, and zinc-aluminum-magnesium — and injecting new momentum into the supply of high-end coated building products in Southwest China.

Yunnan Shenlong is a key modern continuous strip coating production base established by Shenlong Group in Southwest China. Phase I of the project includes three production lines, covering a full range of coatings — galvanized, aluminum-zinc, and zinc-aluminum-magnesium — with thicknesses ranging from 0.25mm to 3.5mm, capable of meeting the demand for high-end building steel in various application scenarios.

Construction of the three lines began on November 20, 2025. The No. 1 line was successfully commissioned on June 1, 2026, following a first-time successful trial run. The No. 2 and No. 3 lines are now progressing through commissioning as planned and will soon be put into operation. Shenlong Group is a leading enterprise in the steel industry's strip rolling and coating sector, having established a nationwide network of coating production bases across Liaoning, Henan, Guangxi, Chongqing, Xinjiang, Yunnan, and other regions, operating 15 continuous hot-dip galvanizing/aluminum-zinc/zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating lines.
